Loomis residents have something exciting to look forward to as the new and improved Starbucks coffee shop on Horseshoe Bar Road is set to open its doors on June 8.
Relocating from its current spot at the Loomis Raley’s shopping center on 6099 Horseshoe Bar Road, Starbucks Store number 07928 will be moving to the former Burger King outlet at 6075 Horseshoe Bar Road. After undergoing extensive renovations in recent months, the building has been transformed to accommodate the popular coffee chain’s needs.
According to historical records, the Loomis Burger King, which has been in operation for 27 years, first opened its doors in 1996.
Loomis Starbucks spokesperson Cheyenne Glashan confirmed that the existing Starbucks location will be closed next Tuesday, with both the current and new shops remaining closed for two days to facilitate the move. The grand opening of the new outlet will take place on June 8, offering customers an enhanced Starbucks experience.
The Loomis Basin Chamber of Commerce Manager, K.D. Molnar, reported that Starbucks signage was already installed on Tuesday, showcasing the chamber’s membership with the iconic coffee brand.
Interested individuals can now apply for full-time and part-time barista positions at the new location through the Snag-a-job web page. The job advertisement indicates that verified pay will range from $16 to $18.16 per hour, providing employment opportunities for the local community.
Starbucks, with its $33 billion in annual revenue in 2022, holds the distinction of being the largest coffee company in the world. It boasts an impressive network of 34,000 outlets globally, with approximately 18 Starbucks coffee shops within the city of Roseville alone.
For coffee enthusiasts in Rocklin, there are at least 11 Starbucks locations listed on Google Search, while Auburn features seven Starbucks outlets, including North Auburn.
An internal analysis of Starbucks’ success reveals that excellent customer service plays a significant role.
